GUNTER RAMBOW

     In 1963， there has one famous designer was 

born in Universitaet Kassel, his a famous 

graphic designer in Germany, his name is Dunter 

Rambow.

     Gunter Rambow had make representative works 

for two hundred when he studied in Universiteat 

Kassel, and he likes lay stress on whole design 

philosophy, also he got rid of realistically for 

expression as much as possible. However when had 

some designer enjoy about post photography, Rambow  

was change his creative thinking that more 

simplicity.

     I consulted a lost of design works from 

Rambow, I perceive he likes design some books for 

his motif. Therefore I chose these two picture of 

his works.

 

     I think from these two design works that he 

believes books can bring promising to people; 

Because these two works both included light, the 

first one light projection from bulb and second 

one projection from the window. So I guess that 

time had a lot of people life difficulty in 

Germany, so Rambow made the creative mind for that 

situation between books and light.

        

       Rambow wasn't choose book for his design 

element, I check out his another whole design 

philosophy from potato.

      We can look out these tree potato already 

incision and painting some color, yellow, blue, 

red and green. Because these color can made 

separate more obvious for these piece of potato 

       Therefore we can look out his art 

introduction from his national culture, also 

culture of potato is most important to him. it's 

not only that, he changed his style in design much 

time, it's looks like one cup of delicious 

cocktail, you can feeling different flavor when 

you drink in your mouth; he bring a lot of unusual 

design work to contemporary people; he looks like 

a magician, bring the different element to 

different appreciation standard from audience.
